Multi-Media Liability

The State’s Multi-media liability policy offers broad protection for student broadcasters and publishers at risk while constantly updating their methods of content distribution. Coverage is for content in any form including, but not limited to, podcast, blog or mobile phone messages and is worldwide subject to certain policy exclusions.

Coverage is available to universities and colleges for student-owned newspapers and broadcasts not otherwise covered under the Statewide Liability coverage. For content distribution owned and published by the university, liability coverage is provided under the Retain Risk Account as indicated in the Retained Risk Coverage document.
