Charter Aircraft Services

In addition to providing liability protection to owned aircrafts, the State’s Aviation insurance policy also provides hired and non-owned liability insurance coverage on an excess basis for agencies that charter aircraft.

Employees or departments that charter aircrafts for business purposes are required to provide flight information regarding chartered travel, including obtaining a certificate of insurance from the charter aircraft service.

To schedule coverage for charter aircraft services travel, download the Chartered Flights Form, provide the required information, and email it to RMI@boisestate.edu. Please note that a leg of a flight is considered from take off to touch down and each leg of a charter flight is considered a separate flight and should be reported as separate charter flights (a new set of line items in your form).
