As an online student, you can anticipate the same personalized student services available to campus-based students. Our Advising Team will assist you in completing the requirements for graduation.

RRT-BS Student Handbook

The student handbook contains information that will help you navigate policies and procedures. In addition, the handbook included DAP specific policies, learning outcomes, program objectives and requirements, and more.  View the BSRC DAP Handbook.

As a Boise State student, your go-to resource is an online portal that provides access to your BroncoMail account, to financial aid resources, and to the online Student Center where you register, add/drop a class, view grades, view requirements for graduation, and more.  Log in at my.boisestate.edu.

Academic Calendar and Registration Processes

Do you need to know when classes start, when spring break starts, or when commencement is scheduled?  Boise State’s Office of the Registrar provides these important dates along with academic policy information and information on course registration, adding and dropping classes, and withdrawing from courses. We provide further clarification on waitlists and permission numbers.

Technology Requirements

Boise State University utilizes Canvas learning management system for online courses which requires a computer with sufficient memory, storage space, and processing power to run the current operating systems and software. Online courses frequently require you to download/upload large files and often include streaming audio and video, both of which require access to a high speed internet connections. Review the minimum technology hardware/software system requirements.

Course Catalog

The undergraduate catalog contains information, policies, and procedures related to registration, fees, financial aid, etc. along with course descriptions, degree requirements, and course offerings. View the Undergraduate Catalog.

Book Store

Boise State’s bookstore offers online ordering for textbooks as well as Boise State logo products and supplies.  For a list of textbooks needed for your courses, log in to your myBoiseState account and select Student View > My Academics.  Visit the Boise State Bookstore.

Mental Health Resources

Our health services department takes all aspects of health seriously. This includes mental health. They have created a resource guide for online students that we hope helps if needed. Also, please never hesitate to reach out to the faculty of your classes or your faculty advisor if you are struggling with your school work.
