COLLABORATION COMMEMORATION

Commemoration Program:

Join us for the commemoration of the growing partnerships and opportunities between the State of Idaho and Japan in the semiconductor industry.  The UPWARDS program is leading the way for collaboration on semiconductor education and research and lays a foundation for larger partnerships between Japan and Idaho.

1:00 p.m. Opening remarks Boise State President, Dr. Marlene Tromp, Executive Director of Institute for Microelectronic Education and Research, Dr. Dan Lamborn, and Executive Director of JETRO, Yotetsu Hayaski.

1:20 p.m. Panel discussions with Director, Global Strategic University Partnerships, Micron, Janine Rush-Byers, Senior Director, Strategic Accounts, TEL, Heather Banisaukas, Vice President for Research and Economic Development, Dr. Nancy Glenn, and Director and Professor, Research Institute for Nanodevices, Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Hiroshima University Dr. Akinobu Teramoto.

2:30 p.m. Question and answer, guest networking

Free parking in the West Stadium parking lot is available. Refreshments will be served.
