Call for Attendees: Cybersecurity at Idaho National Laboratory

In partnership with Boise State University, Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is hosting a visit to INL’s National Homeland Security Directorate in Idaho Falls on November 11, 2024. Detailed schedule to come.

Objectives of this event:

(1) Opportunity for Boise State University faculty and staff to meet INL researchers and tour assets in the cybersecurity, cyber-physical, computing, and power areas.

(2) Explore research collaborations.

(3) Discuss opportunities for future student pipelines between institutions.

This day visit (November 11, 2024) will concentrate on assets in the Idaho Falls, ID, area. Due to the nature of these buildings, INL has requested only US Citizens for this trip. If you are unable to attend, please let us know, and we will work on getting you connected with INL through a different process.

Please RSVP by sending an email to Sin Ming Loo (smloo@boisestate.edu) that you would like to join on this visit by October 28, 2024. This is needed for security clearance purposes at the INL facility.

We do not have a hotel block for this event. Since it is not summer, it should be easier to find something within the GSA guidelines in Idaho Falls in November. We recommend the below: Comfort Suites Idaho Falls, Tru by Hilton, Fairfield Inn & Suites Idaho Falls, or SpringHill Suites by Marriott Idaho Falls.

If there are people in your area you believe would benefit from attending this event, please reach out to Sin Ming Loo.
