Celebrate Research Administrator Day

The Division of Research and Economic Development, which includes research administrators in the Center for Research and Creative Activity, the Office of Research Compliance, Research Enterprise Services, the Office of Sponsored Programs, Research Administration Systems and Analytics, and the Office of Technology Transfer, is celebrating National Research Administrator Day on Wednesday, September 25. Research Administrator Day honors and recognizes research administration professionals and the many contributions research administrators make every day in supporting research and creative activities. This past year, research administrators across all of Boise State University contributed to the development, submission, acceptance, and management of sponsored and non-sponsored activities.

For FY24:

  • 576 proposals were submitted, seeking $308.7M in funding
  • 392 awards were received, totaling $83.4M in funding

Research administrators are vital to the success of the research enterprise. Please take a moment to recognize the extraordinary efforts and the part that research administrators play in supporting faculty and the research and creative activity mission of Boise State University by sending a note of thanks to the DRED team using Research Administrator Day Recognition Google form.
