Albertsons Library Research Support provides advanced support for the research activities of the Boise State University community.
COAS Research and Creative Activity (RCA) Hub
The College of Arts and Sciences (COAS) Research and Creative Activity (RCA) Hub promotes the healthy, meaningful, sustainable, and inclusive growth of research and creative activity by providing resources to faculty, postdocs, and graduate students that support scholarship. COAS RCA provides support to all faculty and staff within the COAS. They provide administrative support for extramural funds management, both on the front-end by assisting with proposal preparation and on the back-end by assisting with accounting, hiring, purchasing, and travel.
COED Office of Research
The College of Education (COED) Office of Research fosters a vibrant scholarly community within the College of Education by providing support for COED research activities, including internal funding opportunities, workshops, and training. Additionally, it collaborates with the Office of Sponsored Programs to offer comprehensive grant management support for faculty members from pre-award to post-award stages.
COEN Research Affairs
Research in the College of Engineering (COEN) spans various fields, such as cybersecurity, microelectronics, and biomedical engineering. Collaborations with non-profits, industry, government, and universities worldwide contribute to diverse research initiatives while also benefiting the local community and region. COEN Research Affairs provides pre-award support and oversight of research initiatives throughout COEN.
COHS Office of Research
The College of Health Sciences – Office of Research provides research and other sponsored activity support to COHS faculty, students, and staff.
Center for Research and Creative Activity (CRCA)
The Center for Research and Creative Activity connects researchers to responsive and integrative resources to advance research mobility, scholarship, and creative activity.
Institutional Compliance and Ethics
The Office of Institutional Compliance and Ethics is responsible for coordinating compliance oversight, monitoring, and reporting at the institutional level. Although Institutional Compliance and Ethics coordinates compliance efforts campus-wide, departments and individuals with compliance responsibilities are subject-matter experts in their respective areas and should continue to be your first contact for specific compliance questions.
Office of Research Compliance (ORC)
The Office of Research Compliance ensures that faculty, staff, and students adhere to federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as sponsor requirements and University policies, to avoid penalties and maintain compliance in research activities.
Office of Technology Transfer (OTT)
The Office of Technology Transfer plays a vital role in supporting research activities, fostering industry partnerships, commercializing intellectual property, and promoting innovation and economic development programs.
Office of Undergraduate Research
Office of Undergraduate Research at Boise State (OUR)Â builds and nurtures a vibrant, inclusive research community where all undergraduate students are actively engaged in the scholarly life of the university and region.
Research Computing Support (RCS)
Research Computing Support empowers researchers by providing advanced computing infrastructure and technical expertise, fostering collaboration, and facilitating groundbreaking discoveries in support of research and economic development.
Research Enterprise Services (RES)
Research Enterprise Services (RES) provides operational, analytical, and programmatic services to the research and creative activity community, including faculty, staff, and external partners. RES is comprised of the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) and Research Administration Systems and Analytics (RASA). RES also supports various campus-wide efforts, such as the Next Frontier Program, Budget Modernization Initiative, Artificial Intelligence Committee (Administrative Units), Information Technology Planning Committee, Decision Support Working Group, and Policy Committee.
SPS Research Committee
The goal of the School of Public Service (SPS) Research Committee is to support and foster research across the School of Public Service through research grants, events, and graduate assistantships.
