Grand Challenges Communication Series and Campus Open Forum
The Division of Research and Economic Development is excited to announce a Grand Challenges Communication Series and Campus Open Forum. This series of communications will introduce the first Grand Challenge topic area – Resource Nexus for Sustainability – to advance interdisciplinary research and creative activity across the institution. At this first event, we will introduce new leadership taking on this initiative, discuss funding and opportunities for engagement, and review timelines for upcoming funding opportunity announcements. All disciplines across campus are invited to participate, please use the link below to sign up and you will be added to the event.
Date/Time: Friday, November 5th at 1 pm
Logistics note: We are working to build out our Grand Challenge website which will include a detailed FAQ section. To better glean critical questions and gaps in knowledge around the Grand Challenges – the overview, the mechanism, the process, or around the first Challenge itself – we encourage you to ask a question in the above form and/or pose your question in the Zoom chat during the session. While we may not be able to answer all of your questions during the session, we will use them to build out the FAQ. For the in-session Q&A, our priority will be to answer live questions via raised hands.
If you can’t make the first forum, the recording will be available to view on the website. Also, please feel free to reach out to discuss your questions (grandchallenges@boisestate.edu).
