Think BIG! Workshop
Think Big! is an interactive workshop designed for graduate students and postdocs at Boise State to explore new research and creative pathways using a user-centered, design-thinking approach. Participants will engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, leveraging creative techniques and co-design methods to enhance problem identification, research impact and innovative solutions. Through hands-on activities and case studies, they will cultivate curiosity, creativity and empathy while integrating human-centered research practices to generate meaningful societal impact.
A $250 stipend is available for the first 10 postdoc attendees who register.
When: April 12 – 13, 2025; 9am – 5pm both days

COBRE in Matrix Biology Pilot Project Program
The NIH Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) in Matrix Biology is pleased to announce its Pilot Project Grant Program. This program will provide support for promising faculty members undertaking biomedical research. To achieve this, the program aims to support investigators to generate preliminary data that will lead to competitive applications for external funding and publications. To be considered for a pilot project, you must demonstrate the use of the Biomolecular Research Core Facility (BRC) or Biomedical Research Vivarium Core. The program anticipates funding of 2-4 pilot projects.
