Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA), which operates the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) for the U.S. Department of Energy, just notified us that the April 8, 2020 Travel Reimbursement Suspension Letter is still in effect. This means that, without advance approval, BEA will not reimburse travel-related expenditures incurred during the suspension period.
On June 18, 2020, we received a CAES Suspension Expiration Letter. However, we have been notified that:
“. . . BEA is still NOT reimbursing for travel if travel occurs during the Covid pandemic. At this time, visiting INL property is acceptable as long as the university or the individual pays for travel. Please see the attached letter that was sent out to all vendors back in April. This letter still stands.”
