Synopsis: multi-investigator, multi-disciplinary centers enable, encourage, and accelerate transformative scientific advances for the most challenging topics in materials sciences, chemical sciences, geosciences, and biosciences. EFRCs conduct fundamental research focused on one or more grand challenges, transformative opportunities, and basic research needs identified in major strategic planning efforts by BES and the scientific community.
Please provide a white paper of up to 2 pages that states:
Names of BSU PI and co-PIs
Names of partner institutions & partner institution’s PIs
State the scientific mission of the proposed ERFC
Briefly describe the research methods and potential scientific impact of the proposed ERFC
