This was a collaborative effort with the Office of Information Technology’s Business Intelligence and Reporting Services, and we could not have accomplished it without their leadership, skill, and support.
College/Departmental Administrators, Principal Investigators (PI), Department Chairs, Deans, and others can use this report to view award and project budgets against the actual and committed totals, in order to see remaining balances. Additionally, you can use the drill feature to see detailed costs that make up the balances. You can search by PI, College, Awards, Projects, and/or Department(s) in order to speed up your review, or create a tailored output in a printable format.
This tool provides greater transparency and ease of use for sponsored project budgets and available balances. We are committed to serving you and look forward to continued advancements in reporting. For example, we are evaluating how we could potentially add salary projections and data “what if” modeling as integrated features.
