The USGS Idaho Water Science Center provides reliable, impartial scientific information to local, state, tribal, and federal partners in four basic areas of research: surface water, groundwater, water quality, and water use and availability.
They are “a team of hydrologists, geologists, hydraulic engineers, hydrologic technicians, and support staff serving the needs of communities and partners throughout Idaho.” The center has offices in Boise, Post Falls, Idaho Falls, and the Idaho National Laboratory.
