Research Summary
Prithila Purkayastha is a graduate student in the Geoscience department at Boise State University. She is currently involved in a community-engaged research project, creating a tailored approach to evaluate the resilience of rural communities. Additionally, she is interested in co-developing an environmental screening tool for Idaho, designed to identify communities disproportionately impacted by environmental pollution and health burdens. Her research passions drive her to bridge gaps and enhance rural resilience for promoting sustainable community development amid escalating disaster risks.
