The Hazard and Climate Resilience Institute is partnering with Global Gardens!
Global Gardens supports farmers from diverse backgrounds by providing access to land, training, and the local market. One of those markets is directly to consumers through a CSA program.
What is a CSA?
A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is an 18-week, summer-long subscription for a weekly bag full of fresh, spray-free, locally grown produce by farmers from refugee backgrounds here in the Treasure Valley. By joining a Global Gardens CSA, you are supporting small-scale farmers, strengthening our local food system, and guaranteeing yourself some of the healthiest, tastiest produce around.
Stay tuned for future events hosted by the HCRI and Global Gardens, including community garden visits and the opportunity to harvest your own produce and hear stories from local farmers!
