On July 24th, Boise State University graduate student Sabrina Akther and HCRI Director Dr. Brittany Brand visited the Donnelly Fire Station for the launch of the Valley County Hazards and Risk Map Web Tool, developed in partnership with community partners.
This tool, funded through the FEMA RiskMap program, consolidates relevant hazard, social vulnerability, and critical infrastructure data such that it can be easily understood and used by local officials for risk reduction and decision-making. To learn more, please visit the project description page.
