You can receive college credit for a GED College Ready+Credit (GED+) exam by scoring between 175 and 200 on a test subject.
How to Receive Credit for a GED College Ready+Credit Exam
- Review the table below to see the minimum score required and equivalent Boise State course.
- Send your official result to Boise State through GED or ACE.
- Fill out the GED College Ready + Credit Exams Form.
- You will receive an email when your exam score is processed. Test credit will be posted to your record after the 10th day of your first semester at Boise State.

Grade on Transcript
Credit for GED+ exams will be recorded on your Boise State transcript with a grade of Pass (P). If you did not pass the exam, no entry is made on your transcript.
Limitations of GED College Ready+Credit Exams
GED+ exams cannot be used to repeat a class previously graded. You may earn up to one-third (1/3) of your total credits required for graduation through credit for prior learning.
