Boise State University MS Raptor Biology student Sadie Ranck defended her thesis, “Sex, body size and winter weather explain migration strategies in a partial migrant population of American Kestrels (Falco sparverius),” on the morning of March 4, 2022. Ranck’s advisor is Julie Heath (Boise State University Raptor Research Center, Biological Sciences), and her committee includes Matthew Kohn (Geosciences) and Amy Ulappa (Biological Sciences).
