Robinson Featured in Audubon Article About Gyrfalcon Research

Bryce Robinson (MS, Raptor Biology, ’16) was featured in the January – February 2016 Audubon magazine in an article entitled “What One Magnificent Predator Can Show Us About the Arctic’s Future” during his final semester in the Raptor Biology program at Boise State University. The article details Robinson’s work with The Peregrine Fund in Alaska, quotes fellow MS Raptor Biology alum David Anderson (’98), and describes why the Gyrfalcon is “the polar bear of the avian world” and an indicator for Arctic ecosystem health.

Additionally, Boise State Public Radio covered the release of this Audubon article in January by interviewing Robinson. In the radio interview, Robinson describes what he looking at during his comprehensive research on the Gyrfalcon diet.
