Prerequisite GPA must be greater than 2.7 with a minimum of 14 credits completed by the application deadline (C- will not be considered an acceptable grade for a prerequisite course. Grade acceptance for general university core not required in the prerequisite year will follow the Boise State policy). Prerequisite GPA will be determined using the +/- standards according to Boise State policy.
Minimum 14 credits completed prior to semester of applying to the program
Complete remaining prerequisite courses during semester of application with only one (1) remaining prerequisite to complete in the summer
ENGL 101 Writing and Rhetoric I
ENGL 102 Writing and Rhetoric II
MATH 143 College Algebra or MATH 170 Calculus I or ACT of 27
BIOL 227-228 Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II
HLTH 101 Medical Terminology
CHEM 101/L Introduction to Chemistry I OR CHEM 111/111L General Chemistry I
PSYC 101 Introduction to Psychology
Three credits of either FA (Foundations of Arts) or FH (Foundations of Humanities)
ITM 104, 105, 106 (or equivalent Word Processing, Spreadsheet and Database courses) Or COBE Computer Placement Exam (Microsoft Word, Excel and Access sections)
