Required Prerequisites

    • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7
    • Completed or in process of completing pre-professional curriculum
    • Prerequisite GPA must be greater than 2.7 with a minimum of 14 credits completed by the application deadline (C- will not be considered an acceptable grade for a prerequisite course. Grade acceptance for general university core not required in the prerequisite year will follow the Boise State policy). Prerequisite GPA will be determined using the +/- standards according to Boise State policy.
    • Minimum 14 credits completed prior to semester of applying to the program
    • Complete remaining prerequisite courses during semester of application with only one (1) remaining prerequisite to complete in the summer
        • ENGL 101 Writing and Rhetoric I
        • ENGL 102 Writing and Rhetoric II
        • MATH 143 College Algebra or MATH 170 Calculus I or ACT of 27
        • BIOL 227-228 Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II
        • HLTH 101 Medical Terminology
        • CHEM 101/L Introduction to Chemistry I OR CHEM 111/111L General Chemistry I
        • PSYC 101 Introductiont to Psychology
        • Three credits of either FA (Foundations of Arts) or FH (Foundations of Humanities)
        • ITM 104, 105, 106 (or equivalent Word Processing, Spreadsheet and Database courses)  Or COBE Computer Placement Exam (Microsoft Word, Excel and Access sections)
