Academic and Research Background

Madison (Maddie) Kadrmas joined the Micron School of Materials Science and Engineering in June 2022 as a Research Assistant. She is working in the Quantum DNA Research Group as part of the Single Molecule Characterization Team using super-resolution light microscopy to develop an understanding of the positional and orientational precision of DNA-templated dye aggregates. Madison earned her BS in Physics with Highest Distinction from Montana State University. While attending Montana State, she worked under Dr. David Nidever conducting astronomy research on the orientation and structure of nearby dwarf galaxies.
