The COUNSELING & ART THERAPY (M.S.) program at Old Dominion is based on growth-oriented and reflective classroom, studio, community and clinical experiences. For more than 50 years, the department’s nationally and internationally renowned faculty have prepared world-class art therapists who are culturally responsive, invested in their communities and working at the highest professional and ethical standards. Personal art-making is encouraged and supported by our fully-stocked, 2,000-square-foot art studio, open to students 24/7.
