Boise State Counseling MA Program Open House

Counselor sitting in a room with a group of three students

Boise State’s Department of Counselor Education is hosting its annual program open house on December 3rd, and you are invited to attend! Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with program faculty, current students, and alumni to learn more about the Master of Arts in Counseling Program and the counseling field as a whole. Topics addressed during past open houses include:

  • What is the program structure and timeline?
  • What is required for the application?
  • Can I only work with certain clients based on the cognate areas? What if I change my mind?
  • Where are alumni currently working?
  • Is it possible to juggle work and school?
  • Can I work while I am in the program?

The Department of Counselor Education is hosting one open house in person and another on Zoom. You can find information about both events below.
