Advising

Our advisors are here for you every step of the way — to answer questions, offer advice, and celebrate your successes.

Who Are the Psychology Advisors?

Overseen by our Advising Services Coordinator, Psychology Advisors are current upper-division psychology majors who have completed a rigorous 100-hour academic advising training program. Psychology Advisors assist the Advising Services Coordinator with the academic advising of all Psychology majors, Psychology minors, and Family Studies minors. Psychology Advisors hold regular office hours during the Fall and Spring semesters, provide support to students via email, and also aid in planning events to foster connectedness between students and psychology faculty.
