Dr. Jennifer Weaver is seeking an intern to assist with administrative support for Academic Mamas at Boise State. Academic Mamas is a network of faculty and staff that meets monthly and provides members with support, networking, and mentoring opportunities around managing professional and parental roles. The selected intern will assist with meeting preparations, maintaining social media and promotional materials, and curating a monthly newsletter to share with members that highlights relevant research or books, local activities, and articles of interest to members. Application Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Have completed PSYC 321Â
- Able to commit to 2-3 semesters of service in this roleÂ
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or aboveÂ
Preferred Qualifications
- Conscientiousness and good communication skills
- Ability to write for a general audience
- Work well in a remote capacity (supervisor meetings will be held on Zoom primarily)
- Ability to find and understand research articles
- Have an interest in maternal psychology or work-life balance issues
