The Department of Psychological Science invites you to attend our October “Talk Psych” presentation! Talk Psych is a seminar series being offered by the Department of Psychological Science this academic year.
Dr. Brian Stone will give a talk on the role of cognitive psychology and comparative psychology in creating and researching artificial intelligence (AI). He will share his research on machine learning for misinformation detection, the use of generative AI in learning and education, AI alignment with human values, as well as theory of mind and other aspects of social cognition related to AI.
This presentation will be held on Tuesday, October 8 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM in the Education Building (EDUC), Room 110. If you are unable to attend in person, you can also join us virtually via Zoom. We look forward to seeing you there!
