Boise State’s Department of Counselor Education is hosting its annual program open house, and you are invited to attend! Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with program faculty, current students, and alumni to learn more about the Master of Arts in Counseling Program and the counseling field as a whole. Topics addressed during past open houses include:
- What is the program structure and timeline?
- How does counseling differ from social work?
- What is required for the application?
- Can I only work with certain clients based on the cognate areas?
- Where are alumni currently working?
- Can I work while I am in the program?
The Department of Counselor Education is hosting one open house on Zoom, and another in person. You can find information about both events below.
