The Wassmuth Center for Human Rights is hosting a free human rights education conference this weekend, and you are invited to attend!
This year’s conference theme is “Cultivating Compassionate Communities” and will feature the Cure for Hate Campaign with former neo-Nazi Tony McAleer and film director Peter Hutchison. There will also be workshops facilitated by Braver Angels, Narrative 4, One Stone, Congregation Ahavath Beth Israel, and the Wassmuth Center. All participants will have an opportunity to deepen their understanding of polarization and develop strategies and skills to foster compassionate communities where all people can belong and thrive.
The conference will be held this Saturday, October 21, in the Jordan Ballroom in the Student Union Building (SUB) and is free for all Boise State students to attend. To register, visit the Wassmuth Center website.
