The Department of Psychological Science invites you to our October “Talk Psych” presentation! Talk Psych is a series of talks offered by the Department of Psychological Science this academic year – keep an eye out for advertisements for future Talk Psych events.
Dr. Bill Griesar and Jeff Leake from Northwest Noggin will present “Letting Knowledge Serve Through Interdisciplinary Neuroscience, Art, and a Few Extra Brains”.Â
Northwest Noggin is a non-profit organization that brings together scientists, artists, and students of all ages to expand their expertise, listen and learn from others, excite young people about science and art, share educational resources, and excite the public about ongoing, taxpayer-supported research.Â
Dr. Griesar, in collaboration with students from several universities, developed a 4-week, all-volunteer class on the brain and behavior for middle school students. Leake has developed various art projects to help convey concepts in neuroscience and engage more people.Â
This presentation will be held on Tuesday, October 10 from 3 PM to 4 PM in the Multipurpose Building (MPCB), room 118. We look forward to seeing you there!Â
