Reminder: Talk Psych Presentation Next Tuesday (09/12)

The Department of Psychological Science invites you to the inaugural “Talk Psych” presentation! This will be the first in a series of talks offered by the Department of Psychological Science this academic year – keep an eye out for advertisements for future Talk Psych events.

Dr. Eric Landrum, Professor from the Department of Psychological Science, will present “The Transformative Power of Research”. In his talk, Dr. Landrum will address the following:

  • The definition of research is nuanced and can become complicated
  • In our complex world, we all need to be savvy consumers of research
  • When becoming a producer of research, not only can this be a transformative undergraduate experience, but it can lead to a satisfying professional career
  • Research and its outcomes have limitations – however, so does every other way of knowing

If you’d like to learn more about research or connect with faculty and fellow students from the Department of Psychological Science, this event is for you! This presentation will be held on Tuesday, September 12 from 12 PM to 1:15 PM in Riverfront Hall (RFH), room 101. We look forward to seeing you there!Â
