TA for PSYC 295 or PSYC 431 This Fall!

Dr. Ayers from the Department of Psychological Science is seeking Teaching Assistants (TAs) for PSYC 295 (Statistical Methods) and PSYC 431 (Social Psychology) for the Fall semester.

What Does a TA Do?

TA duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Attending class meetings
  • Holding office hours
  • Answering student questions
  • Grading

How Many Times Can I Be a TA or RA?

The Department of Psychological Science allows students to serve as a TA for a maximum of 9 credits. Students may enroll in PSYC 401 a maximum of 1 time (3 credits) and may enroll in PSYC 402 a maximum of 2 times (6 credits).

Requirements

To apply for either TA position, you must:

  • Have earned an A or better in the course you are applying for
  • Have a 3.0 or better GPA
  • Be able to attend weekly TA meetings (~1 hour)
