Research Coordinator and Project Management Intern Needed

Dr. Cynthia Campbell from the Department of Psychological Science is seeking a Research Coordinator and Project Management (RC+PM) intern, and you are invited to apply!

Overview

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with the research project’s principal investigator (PI), Dr. Campbell, on coordinating and administrating the Teaching Students Teamwork Skills research project. The Teaching Students Teamwork Skills research project aims to investigate how effective a novel protocol for teaching teamwork is at increasing students’ teamwork competency and team function.

This is a for-credit internship, meaning you will be able to earn credit toward your degree while participating in this opportunity. The RC+PM intern will be expected to dedicate 6-10 hours (2-3 credits) hours per week to this position, which will take place during the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters.

Responsibilities

The RC+PM intern will have the opportunity to build skills in project management, communication, and research coordination. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring the progress of research activities to ensure project objectives and milestones are met
  • Coordinating and communicating with all project stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining records of research activities and preparing periodic and ad hoc reports
  • Preparing and reviewing project data, reports, and summaries
  • Preparing drafts for project correspondence
