Internship Opportunities
Victim Services Survey Specialist
This is an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in victim services and/or data analysis. In this position, you will:
- Oversee the creation of surveys for MADD victims and survivors whose lives have been impacted by drunk and/or drugged driving
- Collaborate with volunteers, victims, survivors, and other members of the MADD Idaho team to develop new strategies to meet the needs of MADD victims and survivors
Strong communication skills, computer and data entry skills, interpersonal skills, and adaptability are necessary for this position.
Victim Services Community Outreach Specialist
This would be a great learning opportunity for students who would like hands-on experience working for an agency that provides services to victims of crime. In this position, you will:
- Create and implement effective outreach strategies for victims and survivors of drunk and/or drugged driving accidents
- Work with the Victim Services team at MADD to establish a plan to ensure the success of outreach strategies
- Help connect victims and survivors of drunk and/or drugged driving accidents with the MADD Victim Services Program
Judicial Investigations Specialist
This is a fantastic opportunity for students interested in the judicial system. In this position, you will:
- Investigate DUI cases within your assigned county
- Analyze demographics and other data related to DUI cases
- Work alongside Court Monitors to research different magistrates and determine scheduling for upcoming DUI-related case hearings
