Congratulations to Emily Eker, the recipient of Boise State University’s URCA grant!
Emily Eker – a senior majoring in Social Science and minoring in English, and mentored by Dr. Iryna Babik – was awarded the URCA grant ($2000) to conduct research titled: “Detecting Linguistic Differences in Ideologically-Motivated News (Mis)Representations.” Emily is planning to present preliminary results from this study at the RMPA conference in Albuquerque, NM, in April 2023.
