Spring 2023 Office Hours
The PSYC Advising team is here for you! During the Spring 2023 semester, we will be offering drop-in office hours both in-person and virtually via Zoom. Our Spring 2023 office hours are listed here. For information about our services, as well as our current office hours, visit our website.
- Monday: 3 PM to 5 PM — In-Person (EDU 628)
- Tuesday: 3 PM to 5 PM — In-Person (EDU 628)
- Wednesday: 3 PM to 5 PM — Virtual (Zoom)

Meet the PSYC Advising Team
We are thrilled to introduce the four newest members of our team, Glenn Reese, Sage Ashton, Sami Robinson, and Lauren Pezina!
Glenn Reese, Psychology Advisor
Hello, my name is Glenn. I am in my Senior year, pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Though I am a non-traditional student, I am not in my “senior years” as a person. I am just exuberantly middle-aged. I plan on continuing my education after my Bachelor’s degree with a Master’s in counseling. I do really enjoy being in school again, but when I am not learning, you can find me either on my snowboard, scaling a cliff, standing in front of an easel drawing, or sitting behind my guitar and microphone. I am very happy to be part of the PSYC Advising team here, I am in good company! Hope we have the chance to meet.
Sage Ashton, Psychology Advisor
Hello! My name is Sage. I am a Junior here at Boise State, studying Psychology and Spanish. After I graduate, I plan to continue my education with a Master’s degree in social work before landing back in my hometown of Tetonia, Idaho as a counselor or social worker. In my spare time you can find me reading, spending time with loved ones, cooking, and falling down Wikipedia rabbit holes.
Sami Robinson, Psychology Advisor
Hello! My name is Sami Robinson and I am a Junior at Boise State University. I am currently working towards my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies. My goal is to go to graduate school to become a school psychologist. Some of my favorite hobbies include reading, baking, and hiking. I also enjoy spending time with my family.
Lauren Pezina, Psychology Advisor 
Hi, my name is Lauren Pezina and I am a Junior here at Boise State! I am majoring in Psychology and minoring in Family Studies. After graduation, I plan to continue my education and get my Master’s in school counseling. In my free time, I love to bake, cook, read, write poetry, and go thrift shopping. I am looking forward to a great semester with you all!
Samantha Cary, Advising Services Coordinator
Hi! My name is Samantha, and I am the Advising Services Coordinator for the Department of Psychological Science. I oversee the department’s team of Psychology Advisors and also serve as an academic advisor. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Boise State, so I’m fairly familiar with the university and our department. When I’m not on campus, you can find me at the gym, painting, or spending time with family and friends.
