Submissions for the Creative Non-Fiction category are open to one work of creative nonfiction completed for coursework in the last calendar year. Submissions should not exceed 20 pages. Cannon Collett wrote the 1st place submission in the Creative Nonfiction Category for the 2025 President’s Writing Awards.

Hi, I’m Cannon Collett! I moved to Boise in 2016 and have been attending Boise State since 2022! There is so much to love about this beautiful city, and I am honored to be educated within it.
