Each year the President’s Writing Awards works with a graphic design student to create posters, fliers, and banners to market the awards. Dominic Giuffrida designed the poster for the 2025 President’s Writing Awards.
About Dominic
I’m from Fresno, California, and I’m currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree here at Boise State. I’ll be graduating this coming spring, so I’m really excited about what the future holds!
In my design work, I love incorporating hand-drawn elements, using raw materials, and finding unorthodox ways to solve problems.
When I’m not designing, you can find me on the local hills snowboarding, finding odd tidbits at a local market, or enjoying the surf at the river wave.
2025 Poster Design
Requirements
Designers must fit all required content into a poster sized 4.25 x 5.5 inches with readable text, high contrast colors, and some graphical elements.
The flier needs to include all of the following:
- President’s Writing Awards.
- Boise State University.
- [Contest categories and text]
- [submission instructions]
- [Year].
- Submission Deadline [month and day].
