Boise State University has a robust internship program, placing over 1,300 student interns each year. An internship provides the opportunity to:
- Explore career possibilities in a concrete way
- Network with individuals and corporations
- Earn Boise State credit (typically 3 credit hours)
- Earn money
Philosophy Majors whose post-graduation plans are not well defined would do well to consider an internship.
To see the many opportunities available, you will need to register for BroncoJobs at the Career Center home page. After registering, you will be given instructions for accessing the BroncoJobs site. If you find a position that looks interesting and would like to know more about the process of becoming an intern, contact Dr. Stephen Crowley the Philosophy Department Internship Coordinator.
