Jim Stockton, Lecturer in Philosophy, delivered a keynote address at the 10th anniversary meeting of the Gonzaga Socratic Club, at Gonzaga, University in Spokane, WA., on Friday, September 19th. His paper, ” The Oxford University Socratic Club: Fellowship and Faith in Practice” offered an historical account of the professional relationships and friendships that helped make the original Socratic Club one of the most successful speakers’ societies of the twentieth century.
