Tricia Burns, MBA
Tricia Burns, MBA, is an adjunct instructor for Boise State University’s interdisciplinary professional studies program. Burns also provides leadership training through Boise State’s Professional and Continuing Education (PACE). Burns has worked in training capacities for most of her professional career and is known for her engaging approach to workshop facilitation. In addition to higher education, Burns has experience in healthcare and government agencies providing training, needs analysis, program development, program management, grant writing and grant management. In addition, she has facilitated on-site custom training for PACE clients in city, county, state and federal agencies. Burns’ life-long experience in small business brings a unique view and expertise to her leadership and business classes. Burns earned her bachelor of science and MBA from Boise State University; the latter included elective courses in grantsmanship and instructional and performance technology.
