Personal Writing SIG: Bob Fontaine

The Personal Writing Special Interest Group (SIG) welcomes the opportunity to share selected works of its members.

This month’s featured writing is from SIG member Bob Fontaine: Rock Flat and A Precious Gift.

Bob’s background is in education where he served as a teacher, principal, superintendent, and Human Resources Director for 42 years in public and Catholic education. He serves on the Osher Advisory Board, Track Four Curriculum Committee, and facilitates with his wife, Toni, the (Mostly) Foreign Films at The Flicks SIG. Bob initiated his Osher Institute activities with the Personal Writing SIG. It has served as an inspiration to reflect upon and write about the memories of his life experiences which he plans to pass on to his family. His two works are about his early childhood years in McCall, ID.
