Boise State University’s Department of Humanities and Cultural Studies and the National Book Foundation presents Reading + Discussion: Xiaowei Wang and Joe Fassler on Wednesday, April 12, at 7:00 p.m. at the Boise State Student Union Building, Room Simplot A/D.
Xiaowei Wang is a technologist, a filmmaker, an artist, and a writer. The Creative Director at Logic magazine, their work encompasses community-based and public art projects, data visualization, technology, ecology, and education. They will discuss their book, Blockchain Chicken Farm, which explores the political and social entanglements of technology in rural China.
