The Ada County Sheriff’s Office presents “A Life Worth Living: A Miraculous Journey of Resilience and Triumph” with retired Army sergeant and author Braxton McCoy on Thursday, October 10, at 1:00 p.m. at the Idaho State Capitol Lincoln Auditorium.
As told in his book, The Glass Factory, Braxton was severely wounded in Iraq and told he may never walk again. After a decade of rehabilitation and over two dozen surgeries, he has regained the majority of his strength, overcome his struggles, and mended his body and mind. Braxton will speak about what it takes to overcome life’s challenges.
