About the Certificate in Professional Readiness

The Certificate in Professional Readiness targets the core competencies needed to excel after graduation. While earning this certificate, you will gain skills and knowledge related to job opportunity analysis, personal brand development, professional competency, data-informed decision making and technology and explore career options through experiential learning. 

Program Details

Professional Readiness Certificate Requirements

The Certificate in Professional Readiness is a 12-credit program that can be completed in as few as two semesters.

Note: If you are a Boise State student, meet with your advisor to see if this program is a good fit for your goals.

To complete the program, you must:

  • Complete three required courses
  • Choose three out of the four options listed in the following table
