Leadership development is a core component of the Online MBA. In our recent exit survey, 91% of graduates reported improved leadership abilities, helping them advance in management and executive roles.

How many students are typically in each class?

Our Online MBA program maintains small class sizes, averaging 22 students per class. This fosters collaboration and ensures personalized attention from faculty. Typically, core classes are larger, ranging from 30-60 students, while emphasis and capstone classes range from 8-30 students, based on 2024 class size counts.

What is the typical age of students in the program?

The average age of our students is 36, though the range of ages and experiences for students varies.

What can I expect in the Online MBA program?

Our Online MBA is a rigorous, fully online program designed to be flexible for working professionals. Courses are asynchronous, with no mandatory logins for lectures or full-class activities.

Will I have opportunities to interact with other students?

Yes! While our online MBA program offers flexibility, it also provides plenty of opportunities for meaningful engagement with your peers.

Many courses incorporate live discussion boards, where students can opt-in to small-group Zoom discussions, record their conversations, and share them with the professor. About half of the classes offer this option, while others maintain traditional discussion boards for those who prefer asynchronous participation.

Team-based projects are another way to connect. Collaboration is central in courses like Design Thinking. You’ll work with a team throughout the seven-week course, often forming lasting professional relationships. Some students even continue as a group throughout the entire program.
Additionally, some courses allow you to choose your own group for projects, making it easier to partner with familiar faces or classmates with shared interests.

While some classes, such as our leadership class, require faculty meetings, we understand that every student has different preferences. Our program is designed to cater to both those who thrive on teamwork and live discussions and those who prefer a fully asynchronous experience.

No matter your learning style, you’ll have opportunities to engage, collaborate and build a strong network within the OMBA program.
