Application Process

Apply to Boise State University

To apply to the university, you must complete Boise State’s undergraduate application. On the “Major and Semester” page, select “Interventional Radiology/Interventional Cardiology – Certificate” from the “Select a Major” drop-down list.

Submit the Undergraduate Application Online

Submit Official Transcripts

Submit official transcripts from every previous college and university you have attended. If you have served in the military, please submit your Joint Services Transcript and/or Community College of the Air Force transcript.

Enroll as a Pre-Advanced Medical Imaging Student

After being accepted to Boise State University, you will begin the first phase of the program as a pre-advanced medical imaging student.

Here, you will work closely with your academic advisor to create an academic plan. You will also complete the following requirements:

Items marked with an asterisk (*) may be completed through transfer courses.

Exceptions to these requirements must be pre-approved. To gain pre-approval, you must upload documentation, which may include official transcripts and a syllabus, when you apply to Boise State.

Create an Academic Plan

During the pre-advanced medical imaging phase, you will work closely with your academic advisor to create an academic plan. This plan includes a timeline of when you will begin your modality-specific courses and determine the deadlines for applying for the modality semester.

Apply to the Modality Semester

After completing your required coursework in the pre-advanced medical imaging phase, you will apply to your modality semester.

To apply to the modality semester, you must complete the advanced medical imaging program application. This application includes the following:

Confirmation of employment in an interventional setting
Proof of current medical professional credentials
Resume and statement of purpose outlining patient care experience
