Admissions Requirements
It’s easy to get started! We are here to help you through every step in the application process.
To apply for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management:
- Have an associate degree or earned approximately 60 transferable credits from an accredited institution.
- Submit the online management program application.
The online BBA in Management is a degree completion program. If you are not planning to transfer credits to earn your bachelor’s degree, the pre-BBA pathway from Boise State Online can help you get started.
Students who have already been admitted to Boise State’s College of Business and Economics should contact a student success coach to learn about the modified admissions process.
Essay Questions
You will be asked to respond to three short essay questions if you have yet to complete the following list of college courses with a C or better:
- Introduction to Financial Accounting
- Introduction to Managerial Accounting
- Global Business Communication
- Introduction to Business Analytics or Introduction to Statistics
- Principles of Macroeconomics
- Principles of Microeconomics
- Spreadsheet Topics
- College Algebra or Precalculus: Functions of Business
These short essays help our office better understand your background and the strengths and skills you can bring to the program.

To Apply for This Program
Step 1 – Apply to Boise State University
- In the Semester and Major section of the application, select “Management – BBA – Online” as your academic area of interest.
- In the Semester and Major section of the application, indicate you are interested in taking courses Entirely through online delivery.
Please note: Students are required to meet with a student success coach before being admitted to the program.
