Boise State’s online Bachelor of Arts in Social Work is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education’s (CSWE) Board of Accreditation. Our on-campus program has been accredited since 1974.
Accreditation by CSWE’s Board of Accreditation indicates that an undergraduate or graduate social work program meets or exceeds quality standards assessed through a peer review process. Accredited programs have the necessary resources to achieve their mission and goals, and the Board of Accreditation has verified their compliance with all sections of the Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards.
CSWE accreditation applies to all program locations and delivery methods. It provides reasonable assurance of program quality and confirms that graduates meet established competency standards.

If you live outside of Idaho or are relocating to a different state, we highly recommend consulting your state’s licensing agency before enrolling in Boise State’s online Bachelor of Arts in Social Work.
