How to Apply
To qualify for the Bachelor of Applied Science, you must have a completed Intermediate Technical Certificate, Advanced Technical Certificate or technical associate degree (AAS or equivalent) from an accredited college or university.
You also must have not already earned a bachelor’s degree.

Classes and Scheduling
The online Bachelor of Applied Science, Resort and Hospitality Management Emphasis is a 120-credit program that includes the following:
- Resort and Hospitality Management Emphasis Courses – 17 credits from the Certificate in Resort and Hospitality Management.
- Required Courses – 12 credits
- Electives – 33 to 61 credits
- Technical Education Credits – 20 to 48 credits. These may be from a technical associate degree (AAS or equivalent), an advanced technical certificate (ATC), or an intermediate technical certificate (ITC) that you have already earned from an accredited institution.
- University Foundations Courses – 37 credits. These general education credits may be met through transfer coursework or will be incorporated into your degree plan.

Costs and Scholarships
The resort and hospitality management emphasis is only available to students who are taking classes 100% online. Students who take classes 100% online pay $375 per credit during the 2024-25 academic year. Estimated book costs for the entire program equal $1,500. Future academic year per-credit fees may vary slightly and are finalized each May.
Students applying to this program are encouraged to apply for scholarships to help fund their education.
Note to Boise State and other Idaho higher education employees: Fee waivers do not apply to the cyber operations essentials emphasis.
