Hear From Our Graduates
Captain Ashley Rosenbaum
“I was always really passionate about health and fitness, and health education especially. There are so many ways that you can use this degree. You just have to find something that you’re passionate about and pursue that, whether it’s being a firefighter, a first responder or working in a hospital.”
Cathy Jo Ayotte
“Before I had my degree, I typically didn’t meet the minimum requirements for a promotion or to transfer laterally. Now that I have that degree, I have a lot more opportunities to move around within the Idaho Division of Public Health. It would be a lot of fun to work in different bureaus within the division and get a full overall public health picture.”
Meghan Howk
“The great thing about the program is knowing there is so much available to you. Serving underprivileged populations, serving people who don’t have adequate access to health care… a degree in public health opens up so many different jobs instead of pigeon-holing yourself into one career.”
